"I'm not afraid to die on a treadmill."

"You might have more talent than me, you might be smarter than me, you might be sexier than me, you might be all of those things--you got me in nine categories, but if we get on the treadmill together, there's two things: you're going to get off first, or I am going to DIE."

Economic Empowerment

Why do young brothers battle rap and freestyle; hanging on the corner, sitting on the bus or walking down the street with some headphones on, bopping their head?

Why do little girls sing their hearts out into hairbrushes and learn how to dance or play the piano?

Why are these kids out on the court, shooting a basketball--hoopin', with no nets on bent rims?

Why are little boys cutting up and acting a fool, telling jokes to their family and friends?

Because they know that if they work hard enough; if they sing hard enough, play hard enough, practice hard enough somebody, somewhere will pay them a lot of money for it.

They know they can make a living by living their dreams.

And they're right.

Just don't let them slack on their academics because they may need a back-up plan.
