Life is a Cabaret.

The Festival kicked off today and, wow! Being in a room with creative, passionate and intense people is an incredible feeling. There is going to be a lot of good, live theater happening in Shepherdstown, W.Va.

We read through four of the plays: Stick Fly, A View From The Harbor, The Overwhelming and Pig Farm. All of the emotional strings that you expect a good story to hit on were plucked many times today man. I'm super-excited.

I've hit a few speed bumps in my personal relationship, but life is a cabaret. I think things will work out—hopefully for the better. We'll see. It's a ride, balancing all of the things that drop down into your life and tip the scales. We make the best of it that we can, right?
